Summer Camp 2008 at Camp Cazadero is over...(everyone sadly sigh here)...but it was GREAT!!!
We had lots of fun...lots of fellowship...lots of learning...and a lot of building and growing our relationships to God and others. Many campers said that this year's camp was one of the best we have ever had! It was so good, that plans are already underway for NEXT year's camp! It will be EVEN BETTER!

We must intercede for the Body of Christ. Only God can do what needs to be done, and we must implore His help! There is nothing any greater that we can do than that. Nothing else will be fruitful, unless we spend time interceding to God on behalf of the Church. Daily pray specifically for each other (by name) in the following ways:
For the UNITY in the Church - John 17:20-21
That each might EXERCISE FAITH - Romans 1:9-12
That family and friends might be SAVED/GROW in Christ - Romans 10:1
That each member might genuinely GROW in Christ - Ephesians 1:16-19
That each would be strengthened with might thru the Spirit; INNER STRENGTH of CHARACTER, that they would be GROUNDED in the love of Christ - Ephesians 3:14-19
For each of them, for their FELLOWSHIP in the Gospel; that God would complete what He began in them - Phillipians 1:4-6
That each might stand perfect (MATURE) and COMPLETE in the will of God - Colossians 4:12
That each might walk properly toward those who are outside (GOOD REPUTATION), and that each may lack nothing - I Thessalonians 4:12
Summer is just around the corner! Before we know it, it will be “time for camp”…
Harvest FWB Church (American Canyon), along with our church, have made reservations at Cazadero Baptist Camp in Cazadero, California for two sessions this summer. The first session is scheduled for July 27-30 (Sunday evening thru Wednesday morning) and is being designed for our “Junior” aged youth, ages 9-12. The second session will be July 30-August 2 (Wednesday evening thru Saturday morning) and will be geared toward our teens, ages 13-18. While the camp sessions are being designed for these ages, workers/sponsors with younger children may bring them along. (An adult sponsor is needed in each cabin/for every 10 campers…)
We have asked Bro. Dustin Williams, Youth Pastor of Ada First FWB Church in Ada, Oklahoma, and his wife, Sara (formerly Govreau), to be our camp evangelist(s) for both sessions. They are eagerly looking forward to serving in this way. The theme that has been chosen for camp is “The Trek for True Treasure”. Lessons, crafts, etc…will be based on this theme.
